I forgot about DA for a couple of months. The page is very outdated, but I'll wait until I finish some other projects before posting the rest. Thanks for everyone that visited, favorited and comented my deviations =)

So much win!

I had no idea how DA could be time consuming just to look around and comment. Had no idea how many awesome artists there where here! Many, many hours until I can view and comment on all the workpieces that deserve comment EVEN if on very specific crafts! Bye bye, freetime!

The hammer finish on your helmet pieces is usually referred to as 'planishing' or a 'planashed finish' in English.

The two Spangenhelms remind me of the work of Kirby Wise, an old friend of mine in Arizona.
Thanks! I'm aware of the "planishing" name. But planishing is not necessarilly a way of polishing, only certainly a way of making the surface more regular. "Hammer polishing" is closer to what I meant, since not only I made the piece "plain", but also gave it a polished look. More so since I specially highly polished my planishing hammer with this intention in mind.

This kind of work seems a lot more common in the US than around here heheh regards to your friend in Arizona!
Whoa, nice work. Did you frabricate those helmets?

btw, I blame *Daniel-dA for twisting my arm to come visit your page.. although, now that I think about it. I'm glad I came to see your work. He's a bit peristant but, a cool guy. :meow:
Thanks alot, dude!

I manufactured each one of them! The details of production are on my blog.

He is! But good thing he didn't break your arm! XD
